If you are starting a business or wanting to expand, having a user-friendly website is essential! Using WordPress and Elementor, we can create a modern website that is easy for customers to use and easy for you to maintain – no coding required! We can also help you with SEO and making sure the website is seen by as many people as possible.
Opportunities happen during the least expected moments. Having a business card on hand can be the difference between gaining a new client or letting that opportunity sail away. We can help with designing a memorable business card and can provide advice on how to have them printed.
Posters and banners are displayed everywhere and being noticed is more challenging than ever. We can create a design that stands out! We can also provide advice on printing options and order them on your behalf via Warehouse Stationery.
First impressions matter in hospitality and having a well-designed, themed menu can improve the experience of your customers. We can design a menu that is quirky, but still easy to read. We can also print the menus in-house (up to A3) on a variety of paper types.
How It Works
Brief
All design projects start with a brief. During this part of the process, we will ask lots of questions to find out the scope of the project and what requirements you have.
Concepts
Using this information, we will then put together a few concept designs. These may only be rough outlines with filler text to make sure that the design is heading in the right direction.
Development
Once a concept has been selected, we then add more and more detail. With Web Design, this is when all the functionality of the site will be added.
Final Design
By the end, you will have a final design that will look great and meet your needs. Revisions can be made on a case by case basis.
My Story
“I started Impactful Designs in 2022 to offer freelance design services and help small businesses stand out in a busy world. I can help with both printed and digital solutions, whether that is websites, social media ads, business cards, posters or even menus.
My journey with design started with Toastmasters in 2016. Although this organisation is best known for helping people with public speaking, it is also a great place to practice and refine many other skills. In my case, this was Graphic Design and Web Design! Being the VP Public Relations for my home club, Christchurch Toastmasters, and then later the Public Relations Manager for District 72 (which covers the entire South Island and Lower North Island) gave me plenty of opportunities to practice building websites and running marketing campaigns. It ignited a passion and I have now helped countless friends and small businesses with their design projects.
In my spare time, I enjoy physical activities like hiking and kayaking. I also work at Warehouse Stationery as an Assistant Manager.”
